National Zoo

There are so many things to do in Washington, DC it's really hard to fit it all in!

We were short on time, but didn't want to miss an opportunity to visit the Smithsonian National Zoological Park; which offers free admission 365 days a year.

I enjoy visiting zoos wherever we go and this was one of my favorites. It's an easy zoo to navigate and there are short distances between animal enclosures. It's a smaller zoo, so it's possible to get through the entire zoo in one visit. If we lived closer, we'd defiantly visit often.
