The NBA Summer Leagues are meant to allow incoming rookies, very young veterans, and aspiring free agents to showcase their skills at a professional level. Thus, the Summer Leagues act as the first showcase for the young players that will be the future of the league. There are three main leagues, one in Utah, one in Orlando, and one in Las Vegas. But the Vegas league is by-far the biggest of the three, with more teams and players than the other two leagues combined.

My husband, Andre' Snellings is sharing great insight from our recent trip to Las Vegas, where he scouted the Vegas Summer League. He's the creator of the Hoops Lab. Neural Engineer by day. Dad by night. Contributor to Rotowire, TYT Sports, and Nylon Calculus. Here are a few links that will give you a great snapshot of the type of action that went on in the Summer League, and what we might expect to see from the new generation of upcoming NBA superstars.
