The Tree of Life

After spending a couple days at Magic Kingdom, we switched gears and headed over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Each Disney park offers unique experiences, and Animal Kingdom is different from any amusement Park we've ever visited. There is truly something for everyone: rides, shows, animals and amazing restaurants.

I had a bit of bad luck when I tried to book our reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table at the Castle, as even two months in advance there were no tables for five available. I was discouraged because I wanted to book this dinner as a gift for my daughters fourth birthday, so I had to think outside the box. I decided to split our reservation by booking one table for two and another for three to get us in the door. After spending the morning at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and shopping at Disney Springs, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom for a fantastic lunch with the princesses.

During our Disney vacation I wanted to treat the girls to a special mother-daughter experience with the hope that they would hold the memories close to their hearts for a lifetime. Although there was no pomp and circumstance surrounding their births, they are and will always be our precious princesses. I declared that this day would be all about them and they would be treated to a day of beauty at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

What I Learned: Magic Kingdom Dining Day 1

With any vacation food can be a huge expense, but if you plan accordingly you can eat well while staying within your budget. Disney World has something for everyone when it comes to dining. They offer both sit-down and quick service dining options, and both have their pros and cons. Most sit-down restaurants are more expensive and require reservations verses quick-service restaurants, which usually consist of fun amusement park favorites such as pizza, burgers, hotdogs and more.
