First up, Magic Kingdom! Come along, I will be sharing some money saving tips and our Magic Kingdom experiences! When it
comes to Disney parks, I don't over plan, I like to pick a few must do's
and then just go with the flow.
Getting to the Park:
We took the monorail into Magic Kingdom and my baby girl was thrilled, just the thought of Disney was blowing her mind. Getting through security and ticket check-in was a breeze. As we walked into Magic Kingdom and down Main Street U.S.A, the weather was absolutely beautiful, brilliant blue sky and sun shine. Our kids were in awe, wide eyes darting around trying to digest the sensory overload of their imaginations and reality intertwining. Then
the rain began, so I didn't get as many pictures, we were too busy running for cover.

Saving on Souvenirs:
Before we left for the park we gave each of our kiddos their very first pair of Mouse Ears!
They absolutely loved them! These Mouse Ears were actually given to the children from a Disney employee my husband sat next to on a business trip last year. It was very kind of her to do that and we hope they'll treasure them forever. We also, brought our own light up bracelets for $1 at Toys R Us, for each kid to wear at night.

Another great tip for buying Disney souvenirs is to stop at a local Walmart and buy similar items that you will find at the parks. In addition to bringing our own souvenirs, we allowed each child to spend a certain amount of money during our vacation, which teaches them how to manage their money and select items carefully. Just a few of the many money saving tricks we used to keep our cost low.
Buttons and Balloons:
Disney guest celebration buttons are another awesome and free souvenir you can get at the park. Just ask a cast member at a gift shop or guest relations and they will give you a button to commemorate your visit, including Happy Birthday, I'm Celebrating, First Visit or Happily Ever After. Our family chose Happy Birthday and Celebrating because we were also celebrating our youngest child's birthday. This was a nice added bonus because with her button on, cast members would say, "Happy Birthday Princess," and she loved the attention. She also received birthday cards and treats during our visit.

Magic Kingdom Attractions and Rides:
We decided to break our Magic Kingdom
visit into two days, because it's impossible to do it all in one day. We rode quite a few rides, including PeopleMover, Mickey's PhilHarMargic, The Barnstormer, Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid, Tomorrowland Speedway and so much more.
