Lunch with the Princesses at Cinderella's Castle
I had a bit of bad luck when I tried to book our reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table at the Castle, as even two months in advance there were no tables for five available. I was discouraged because I wanted to book this dinner as a gift for my daughters fourth birthday, so I had to think outside the box. I decided to split our reservation by booking one table for two and another for three to get us in the door. After spending the morning at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and shopping at Disney Springs, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom for a fantastic lunch with the princesses.
We've had dinner here once before, but our daughter was just a baby and doesn't remember. She wanted to see the princesses and we didn't want to wait hours in line, so I thought this would be a great option. We arrived 20 minutes early to check in for our reservation and I asked if it was possible to combine our tables and sit together. Fortunately they were so gracious and eager to oblige, and we were all able to celebrate at one table.

Family photo with Cinderella |
We didn't wait long before the red rope opened and escorted us into the
castle. We had a private meet and great with Cinderella, which was a
complete surprise for our little princess. We took pictures, she signed
our autograph book and spent a little time talking with us. In the past, when you booked a reservation at the Royal Table, you would receive a photo package including your Cinderella meet and greet session.
We were quite hungry when we arrived, and our server was great about getting us started right away. Our server provided us with prefix menus and asked the chief to come speak to me regarding my food allergies. He was gracious and provided me with great options that fit my needs, preparing an allergy free appetizer, entree and dessert that was absolutely delicious. The servers are also in character and add to the experience. Honestly, service as a whole was top notch from start to finish.

The food was awesome! The children had grapes and cheese for their appetizers and chicken nuggets for their main course. Although, they choose basic food options, they ate every bite with no complaints. The adult meals were fantastic, large portions and we both really enjoyed the pan seared salmon. We had sorbet and ice-cream for dessert; which was perfectly sweet and simple. The children didn't love their S'mores dessert, but were happy to help mom and dad finish off ours.

Throughout our meal the princesses would come around to each table and do a private meet and great with each family. We enjoyed taking pictures, getting autographs and talking with the kind, funny and very animated princesses. They excitedly greeted each child and made them feel special.

We were not rushed, able to linger over our meal and soak in the ambiance at a leisurely pace. The entire experience greatly exceeded my expectations and we all enjoyed it immensely! We all had a wonderful time and would do it again.

We
also loved looking out the windows because the view of the Magic Kingdom is amazing from that vantage point. I hear it's a great location to watch
the Wishes fireworks in the evening as well.
Pricing
Dining reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table can be hard to obtain and quite expensive. The prices range from $30 - $60 and up per person. I just keep telling myself, you are paying for the overall experience and the look on your children's faces. We ended the night with a family photo and smiles all around.
