Review: Port Discovery Children's Museum

During our visit to Baltimore, the children and I spent a fun filled afternoon at Port Discovery Children's Museum.

The museum is located at 35 Market Place, Baltimore, Maryland. Just a couple blocks from the Baltimore Inner Harbor.

We set out from the harbor and enjoyed walking and sightseeing along the way.

General admission is $14.95 for ages two and up, members and children under two are free.

The price wasn't bad, but with three kiddos, this girl was looking for a deal. Fortunately, they do offer a few discounts. One of which is a ten percent discount off up to four general admission tickets when you present your AAA membership card. With the discount, we saved $6.

The museum has three levels of interactive play, something for all ages. It was awesome and I enjoyed it as much as my kiddos!

What the children did during our visit:

KidWorks, a three story climbing experience in the middle of the museum. My kids would play, then climb up and meet me because there are exits on each level.

BGE StudioWorkshop, a place where children can create art projects. The projects this month were Korean folding fans and No do drums.

Royal Farms Gas Station and Convenience Store, where kids can shop, buy groceries and pump gas.

Wonders of Water, on the third floor was our final stop, an exhibit featuring water chimes and lots of water activities. An added bonus for parents is raincoats, crocs and a body dryers.

Other exhibits include a train station, tot trails and Heart and Seoul (growing up in Korea) and so much more.

Truly, one of the best children's museums we've ever visited!
