BALTIMORE INNER HARBOR TOUR

Last week we visited Baltimore, Maryland and Washington DC for a few days, and over the next week I'll share with you some of the sights we saw, food we ate and fun we had!

This was my first time really visiting Baltimore for any extended period. In the past I've flown into BWI, and a few years ago I drove from DC into Baltimore to see the Color Purple stage play. This visit was different. It was our first vacation of the summer, we visited for five days and really had a wonderful time exploring the Baltimore Inner Harbor area.

The harbor is beautiful and there is so much to do. There is the Maryland Science Center, the National Aquarium, and the Oriole Park at Camden Yards, where the Baltimore Oriole's Baseball team plays.

We did something different every day, but honestly, my kids preferred just walking around, looking at the boats and playing with new friends in the grassy area next to Baltimore's World Trade Center.

Check back tomorrow as we continue to share our Inner Harbor experience with a look at the Baltimore 911 Memorial!
