College Football Hall of Fame |
Each day of our Atlanta vacation, we visited a different attraction with our
CityPASS. On this particular day we surprised our son, who is a bit of a football fan, with a day at the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-Fil-A Fan Experience. Come along and I'll highlight some of my family's favorite galleries and experiences at the Hall.
After walking thorough the entry tunnel into the The Quad, the awe-invoking Helmet Wall is the first thing you'll see before receiving your All-Access Pass. Then, find your favorite team on the Helmet Wall and register your
All-Access Pass; this allows you to personalize your experience throughout
the Hall. The pass can be used to interact with the state-of-the-art exhibits and, you'll be recognized by name and the college you picked.

The Helmet Wall includes more than 765 college football team helmets and your helmet will light up when you select your team.

The Playing Field and Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Skill Zone:
|
Hut hut! The 45-yard indoor football field offered a great opportunity throw a few balls.

Kicker on deck, field goal! This little boy had the best day ever! |
I was very impressed with the state of the art facility. I found it to be quite educational, interactive and loved that fact that they offered a field to play on. After spending hours immersed in football everything, throwing a few passes and catching some balls was a perfect way to end our day. The staff helped and encouraged the kids to try out all the skill zone activities regardless of their skill level.
This really was a fun outing for the whole family. Football fan or not, I
think everyone can find something they like at the College Football
Hall of Fame. I wasn't so sure if the girls were going to have as much
fun as my husband and son, but after spending 3 hours there all three
children wore frowns when it was time to leave.
