Review: Trolls Movie

Turns out membership does have its privileges. Tonight, as a Thank You for being a Frequent Moviegoer Member, I was invited to a free advance screening for me and a guest to see DreamWorks Trolls 3D at our local Goodrich Quality 16 Theater.

I took my youngest princess along to see the PG animated movie about a troll princess named Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and her friend Branch, an unhappy troll (Justin Timberlake) and the adventures they encounter trying to rescue their friends from being eaten by their nemeses.

The movie is funny and colorful with all those cute little trolls and filled with lessons that my daughter and I talked about all the way home. The music in the film was great and Timberlake and Kendrick did a good job covering some oldies, but goodies; which had my daughter asking me, "mommy, how do you know all those songs," because I sang along as she sat on my lap.
